What HVAC services do you offer?
We repair, install and replace air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps and ductless mini-splits, and we handle ductwork, indoor air quality, thermostats, tune-ups and commercial systems. Every service has its own page with details, steps and answers.
How do I get a price?
Fill in the form on any page, or call or text 615-431-3789. Photos of the unit and its label help us come prepared. Repairs are priced after a diagnosis, and replacements after a short visit, so the written price covers equipment, labor and extras.
How much does a new HVAC system cost?
It depends on the size, the efficiency, the type of equipment and what the ducts need. Two houses of the same size can price differently. Our Tonnage Finder gives a planning size, and a visit gives you a firm written price with the options side by side.
Should I repair or replace my system?
A repair makes sense when the system is in its middle years and the fix is small compared with a new one. A big repair on an old or failing system is usually money better spent on replacement. We show you both options in writing, and our Life Clock shows where your equipment sits in its typical life.
What size system does my house need?
Size depends on far more than square footage: insulation, windows, sun, ducts and how people use the house. An oversized system cools fast, shuts off early and leaves the air humid. We calculate the load instead of copying the old unit, and our Tonnage Finder gives you a starting range.
How often should I have my system serviced?
Once a year for each system is a good habit: cooling in spring and heating in fall. A tune-up cleans, measures and tests, so small problems are found before they become breakdowns. A maintenance plan puts it on a schedule.
My AC is not cooling. What should I check first?
Check that the thermostat is set to cool and has power, replace a dirty filter, make sure the breaker has not tripped and look for leaves or clutter around the outdoor unit. If the air is still warm, or ice has formed on the lines, turn it off and call us.
Why are some rooms too hot or too cold?
The usual causes are duct leaks, long or undersized runs, missing return air, a hot attic and sun on big windows. A technician can measure airflow and pressure to find the cause. Our Comfort Map shows how these issues change the rooms in a house.
Do you work on all brands?
We work on most major brands of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and mini-splits. Tell us the brand and model when you call, or text a photo of the label, and we will tell you what we can do.
Can you work on commercial buildings?
Yes. We repair and install rooftop units, split systems and heat pumps for offices, shops, restaurants, churches and rental properties, and we plan visits around your hours. Property managers can ask about service plans.
Heat pump or furnace and air conditioner?
Both can keep a house comfortable in our climate. Heat pumps heat and cool with one system and do well in mild weather, while a furnace can win with cheap gas or in the coldest nights. Dual fuel combines them. We compare operating costs for your house.
How long does an installation take?
A straightforward replacement often takes about a day, and new ductwork, a new system in a new build or a multi-zone mini-split takes longer. You get a written schedule before we start, and we protect floors and clean up as we go.
Where do you work?
We serve homes and businesses across Middle Tennessee, in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner, Wilson, Cheatham and Maury counties and the towns around them. If your address is not listed, call 615-431-3789 and we will tell you what is possible.
How do I keep the air in my home healthy?
Change the filter on time, keep humidity in a comfortable range, seal and clean ducts when they need it and ventilate cooking and bath areas. For more help, ask about media filters, dehumidifiers, fresh air ventilation or air testing.
